Hope. In one word, that´s what I experienced at SLUSH’14.

Midst the present economic struggling, the atmosphere of SLUSH was a welcomed breeze of possibilities. We experienced it at Dreamforce’14 in San Francisco, a month back, and we were part of it again at SLUSH’14 last week. An eager, forward looking and ambitious mindset is rising, with a foothold for growth and better businesses.

SLUSH has grown into a really exciting event. Scandinavia is home to a series of great companies, products and technologies such as the mobile phone, Linux, MySQL, Skype, Spotify and a booming gaming industry. And almost every incumbent and up-and-coming tech player in the region was at Slush telling stories ranging from product launches to investment rounds.

It was very meaningful to actually experience this on the home field, the growing appetite for new ways to look at work. Our decision wise approach to knowledge work is raising interest, as is intended. Organizations have plenty to gain by streaming their processes and enhancing collaboration between different departments. A social revolution is taking place as we speak, and it requires a new way of thinking and a new way of working. Sharing, accountability, transparency, reciprocity and the belief that people will do their best when given a true chance. These are the values Fingertip is built on.

We felt proud being a Helsinki based company. SLUSH was a success for us. We had a constant crowd at the demo booth. Our message, software and book, Social Decision- Making, The Introduction drew like magnets.

The countdown has begun. The decision-making revolution is just around the corner.
