Decision-making is the buzz

Do you know how many times the word ‘decision’ was mentioned in the Salesforce World Tour Amsterdam keynotes last week? 44 times (oh yes, we counted!). That’s amazing.

The most dangerous place to make a decision is the office. The decisions need to be made in the field with the customer, said Ulrik Nehammer from Coca-Cola.  Carmina Coenen from Salesforce.com stated that we should have all our decisions at our fingertips.

The mobility of todays’ decision-maker requires good tools to make things happen at the right time and efficiently. Data is streaming in through doors and windows and analytic tools are making information more accessible for all levels of work. So, how do we make sure we use all the new insight wisely? How do we make the smarter and better business decisions with the new understanding?

There’s a universal call for faster and smarter business decisions, we hear it every day working with our customers, prospects and partners. And we heard it over and over again at Salesforce World Tour Amsterdam.
